Bio
Internationally acclaimed 4th Ward Afro-Klezmer Orchestra an eight piece jazz ensemble from Atlanta, Ga. performing original compositions & arrangements combining West African influenced rhythms with Eastern European Klezmer melodies. The groups take traditional styles and turn them into their own
brand of twisted Klezmer-jazz-punk-funk-rock. Like the great Zappa but different.
We pull them up and make live these klezmer music Afro-Pop Mingus jazz. Fantastic hard funky jazz grooves, With the klezmer leading sometimes teasing and sometimes knock your boots off with the energy, precision, and direction of the tunes!!
