On its Myspace site, Two Story Double Wide describes its music as "Johny Cash has a love child by Courtney Love! Elvis has a side project with Sid Vicious and this[ is their] child." As you can probably tell by these influences, 2SDW isn't exactly a traditional country band. Through his years of playing clubs, beer halls, and touring, Matt's influences broadened and the storytelling of country music became his true love, and the can't-get-it-out-of-your-head-chorus his mission. Matt and his band have toured up and down the east coast while opening for acts such as Unknown Hinson, Molly Hatchet, Dickie Betts, Hank lll, The Legandary Shack Shakers, Junior Brown, and David Allen Coe.
