ATTICS is comprised of producer Nastyfig, and lyricists Braille & Laz, three New Jersey residents who met in rehab for alcohol and drug addiction, and became fast friends. In 2013, Nastyfig had a seizure while going through acute withdrawal — he was driving at the time and hit a tree, dislocating both of his shoulders on impact. It was his first wake-up call. Laz has lived through several overdoses, the last of which rendered him dead for eight minutes.
Through their mutual love of hip-hop music, the three have overcome the travails of addiction to find new lives in sobriety. Their brutal journeys have become the canvas for which they express their art.
Their debut album, Momma, I'm Okay Now, will be on all streaming services December 2016.
