It is with great pleasure that I write this letter of recommendation for the spiritually talented Gospel family ministry, Amayz. I had the opportunity to fellowship with Amayz on two occasions, one with my employer (Clayton County Department of Family and Children Services) Christmas luncheon and with our youth ministries’ holy Hip Hop worship event. Amayz was very professional, well mannered and awesome singers for Jesus Christ. They are excellent examples for all ages of how to rejoice and praise God for the gifts He has given you. Their excitement and joy was felt by everyone in the building. I have since their last performance, passed on their contact information to several other individuals who want them to come and minister at their next event.
I will continue to recommend Amayz because I believe in the gifts and preparation of this family and want everyone to receive what God has given them. Keep blessing the world Amayz! If we can ever be of service to you, please don’t hesitate to call on us.

I have known this wonderful family and extraordinary gospel group for the past two years. The bond and love that they have for one another is something that I wish all families could experience. The talent that the youth possess shows their extreme versatility, they write songs, sing, sew, build, and more all as a family unit. They give to the community they live in and abroad over and over again. We have been the recipients’ of their generosity. They have raised funds for our organization by investing their time, energy, and resources to put on free concerts throughout the year. They have donated furniture to our transitional housing program. They have made referrals and leads to connections that continue to benefit our program. The group Amayz is a teen Christian “pop/hip-hop” group often executing highly choreographed sequences to their music. They are cute, light, and refreshing on their performances. A welcome addition to the Church In The Now Prison Outreach; the group has the teen girls at the Youth Development Center screaming like rabid fans as they belt out the familiar sounds of a traditional soulful gospel song. “Spreading the Word through an amazing sound”, a slogan birthed through the harmonic vocals of the inspirational artists Amayz. This brother and sister quartet has been singing together for many years and has blessed people of all ages all over the city of Atlanta. This multitalented family is dedicated to spreading God’s love and grace through their music, and is constantly finding new ways to do so. They are anointed and they each have the passion and strength to continue to do the will of God. They have release three albums: the first album entitled, Nothing More Than You, the second (their Christmas album), entitled Everyday like Christmas, and the third album, a self-titled work called Amayz. They have ministered to DFCS, The Sickle Cell Awareness Foundation of Georgia, Georgia Legislative Black Caucus, and Hosea Feed the Hungry, and have developed concerts to benefit non-profit organizations, and give back to the community. Amayz has been blessed with the opportunity to share the stage with gospels artists, Darwin Hobbs, Tye Tribbett, and Canton Jones.
Stephanie, Charles , Lauren, and Michael Mays have their own distinct style and sound; which complements the other. Amayz’s music has a unique sound that takes contemporary gospel to another level. Their songs will, without a doubt get your feet moving, but their message is strong and never goes without being conveyed.
