Against The Edge

The El Paso, TX based rock band, Starting off as "A Time to Act," current bassist, Ivan "Chowder" Ibarra, current guitarist Eric Torres started off playing shows without a drummer. After several comings and goings of drummers, Tanner "Doc" Thomas brought stability at the position. 

The departure at one of the guitarist positions left room for Jon Wood to step in. After several line-up changes, which included the departure of one of the founding members of the band, A Time To Act felt the name was no longer suitable or fitting for the increasingly stabilizing lineup and dynamic. As a sort of revival or opportunity for renewal, the name was changed to "Against The Edge." 

A swap at lead vocalist, introducing Josh Faupel to the mix, gave ATE the final member of its current line-up. The carousel of member swaps hasn't slowed ATE down at all. Since completion of the current line-up, the band has gone on to release their self titled EP "Against the Edge," featuring the song "Shoot up."
