Edruis Jamel Putman better known by his street name Putt Putt is an American hip hop artist from Chattanooga, Tennessee. Growing up in east Chattanooga Putt Putt had to fight for his respect from his peers. When he wasn’t fighting, he was freestyling and listening to his father old records who was a local DJ. When he was only thirteen his father passed away from a heart attack. This was a tragic experience for a teenager but he knew he had to be strong for his mother and younger siblings. Putt Putt found his love for rapping and songwriting an decided to start recording. In 2005, a few friends and Putt Putt starting a rap group named, “GTP” Get the Paper. Beginning to record and learning the craft of hip hop, he had the opportunity of opening up for some hip hop artist like: Plies, Pastor Troy, and Young Jeezy, just to name a few. After experiencing a taste of the hip hop industry and going through life ups and downs Putt Putt would make a decision that would mold him for the rest of his life. He became a firefighter. Testing out at the top of the Fire Academy, Putt was no longer worried about the streets. Fighting fires, saving lives, and even becoming Lieutenant in 6 years couldn’t keep music from flowing through his veins. He continued to write and in the spring of 2014 he resigned from the Fire Department to pursue his rap career full time. Since then he has switched his name from Putt Putt to 2Tz representing his versatility as an artist and formed AMW music group. AMW (Amerika Most Wanted) is a rap group with 2Tz and King Loco, his brother. Making a name for themselves in the underground world,  they went on to win 1st place at Coast to Coast Mixtapes in Atlanta, 1st place Lucid Vision Showcase, 1st place Next to Blow, and have performed around southern region. Also, 2Tz is working to build his own record label Achieve More Wealth Records LLC with his longtime friend and manager Jamichael. The Chattanooga native is turning ears with his authentic lyrics and swagger as a newcomer in the hip hop industry. Wearing his trademarked vest and American flags hanging from his clothing catches anyone attention regardless of the event. 2Tz is bringing back some southern heat like in the mid-90s.  Influences like 8Ball & MJG, Master P, Yo Gotti, Young Jeezy music has inspired him to 
continue to create and make a new wave for future hip hop artist like himself.
