Z O W !
a native of Louisiana was born in New Orleans, and raised in Convent. He grew up watching his cousins, aunts, and uncles, play music at the age of eight, and realized that music was for him. He played his mom’s pots and pans for two years, and when she was able to get him his first drum set, from there he became a very fine drummer. ZOW! played in his high school band, L.B. Landry, and various other bands independently around the city. He joined the U.S. Army. In state, and overseas, everywhere he went, if there were music, “music is music”, he was looking to be a part of it. ZOW! picked up on another instrument, the piano. He became a good self-taught keyboardist. After the service, during the 80’s, he studied music by attending Loyola, Southern University, and Delgado College where he received an Associate Degree in Music Education. ZOW! continued to play for anyone who needed his services as a keyboard player or drummer in and out of Louisiana, and across countries. He began writing and is now writing and producing music for other artists, and putting on showcases with various acts.
