Timothy H has been in the San Diego Music scene for a while now, playing in a assortment of bands from rock to reggae, to punk rock. Now with his first solo album about to be released he gets to parade his take on the sounds of San Diego. The album "Loved Or Hated But Never Ignored" will be released on itunes around the world on 4-20-2012. " I've always liked the house beats out of Chicago," says Timothy H*,.."But there is something about this place (San Diego) that makes for a real positive and laid back sound. Mix that with all my rock influences and you get a very original sound."
The music has been compared to Lenny Kravitz to Sublime to Nirvana.... and about everything in between. With the song "Extasy" a beautiful duet/balled, featuring Alexis Griffith, you might even think he writes R/B songs. But then to the next tracks "This High" and "Time To Crush", you can hear the Southern California punk influences shine through, like the sun setting along the pacific ocean.
"When people say this is totally San Diego style music... I take that as a huge compliment. This place has been my muse for this album and thats great people can hear that!"
A CD release party is in the works for May at 710 Beach Club with some other San Diego bands in the line up. Get the first solo release by Timothy H* "Loved Or Hated But Never Ignored" on itunes on 4.20.2012 and have that feeling of being at the beach, right there in your headphones.

Hailing from San Diego California, a mecca for Southern California's beach/pop/punk culture...the band, Timothy H* is born. Combining the world of Chicago house music with Reggae, Punk Rock and Hip-Hop, the music is a hybrid of banging beats and ripping guitars. Timothy H is a 5-piece band with horns and a rhythm section along with DJ Matty Mac. The music and the band are geared towards the extreme sports world of surfing, skating, and snowboarding. With songs like "Backside Rodeo Flip" and "Time To Crush", the 2012 release of Timothy H's full-length album "Loved Or Hated But Never Ignored" compliments the SoCal party lifestyle very well.
