This City Alive

Catchy Melodies, Musicality that packs a punch, and lyrics that scream of bad tales only just begin to describe this five piece band from Edinburg, Texas known as This City Alive. This City Alive was formed in February 2010 and recorded their debut album “Things We Have and Haven’t Said” in Valdosta Georgia at Earthsound Recordings with producer Lee Dyess (mayday parade, go radio, select start, etc..). This City Alive went into the studio not only to record an album that people can relate to, but to change the way people perceive pop music. With their diverse musical background, This City Alive found their own creative style that not only is great to hear musically, but lyrically as well. With songs such as Party Queen, and Runaway Model, that vividly depict stories of bad romances, disappointment, and heartache in the most venerable states, it is to no surprise why listeners from around the world fell in love with This City Alive.
Aside from their album “Things We Have and Haven’t Said” This City Alive has been working hard touring relentlessly in the summer trying to expand their fan base, and with over 20,000 fans on myspace now, This City Alive is definitely making a name for themselves. Being featured on Substream magazine as well as Hot Kiss 106.3, This City Alive is always trying to find ways to get their name out into the music world. Continuing to push their album as well as write new material it is almost hard to keep up with the pace that This City Alive is going.
