"the shrimps return to vox pop"

Acoustic folk pop with mandolins,
haromines, and Beatles-esque songwriting. Very good fare for the ears. - village voice

"acousitc psychedelic folk-rock duo"

Recommended to anyone who likes acoustic psychedelic folk-rock. The Shrimps' keen grasp of melody shines through. This is a refreshingly tuneful collection of songs, delivered from the heart. - stumpy moose

"the shrimps play new songs ay crossroads"

Contemporaries to bands such as the stone roses, happy mondays and oasis. The folk pop music that the duo perform derives from the era of led zepplin, the byrds, joni mitchell and the beatles. Reflecting the duo's interest in upholding the values and aesthetics of music - daily record

Bio

Living in New York and citizens of the World, the four corners of The SHRIMPS:

SIMON and MARCUS: These Anglo-American, multi- instrumentalist brothers write all the songs and sing them in genetic harmony.

Journalist have dubbed them “R.E.M. meets Simon and Garfunkel,” whilst others compare their vibe to  “if The Everly Brothers were introduced to punk.”
