Summerfest 2010

Don't miss your LAST CHANCE to submit to Summerfest 2010. Igniting over 11 days on 75 acres with over 700 bands performing on 13 stages, Summerfest is the world's largest music festival.

60 slots reserved for Sonicbids members and all selected artists will be compensated and many will be chosen as support for national headliners. Sonicbids selections for the past few years have included:

The DollyRots - direct support for Paramor/n/nThe World's Largest Music Festival and Milwaukee's cornerstone summer celebration attracts the music industry's hottest stars, emerging talent and local favorites. The Marcus Amphitheater and 10 additional stages, along with a diverse selection of food and beverage vendors, marketplaces and interactive exhibits, are set against the Lake Michigan and downtown backdrops, creating a festival experience like no other.

Summerfest will fill 60 slots with Sonicbids artists. 5 of those slots are reserved for artists who submit before January 31, 2010. All selected artists will be compensated for their performances.

The festival celebrates diversity in music and features hundreds of local, regional and national performers in genres including everything from Alternative, Country, R&B and Reggae to Blues, Zydeco, Rock, Pop, Latin and more.

Already confirmed for this year: Tom Petty with special guests ZZ Top, Eric Clapton with Roger Daltry, Tim McGraw with special guests Lady Antebellum and Love and Theft, as well as Carrie Underwood. Also confirmed are Thievery Corporation, 311, Colbie Caillat, STS9 and more.

This year's Summerfest, which will be held June 24 through July 4, will continue to provide exciting and affordable entertainment for all ages and musical tastes, plus a variety of food, shopping and children's activities.
