"Sons of the Revolution Uprising EP"

Sons of the Revolution show a sincere appreciation for all things metal on this recently released CD. While the band's strength comes from fusing elements from several metal styles together within each song, its biggest weakness then comes from differentiating each of the songs from the others, with the exception of the predominantly clean "Elysium," which emerges as the strongest song of the set. Still, a solid sampling of both the band's shredding (All Bridges Ash) and songwriting (Pantomime) abilities, "Uprising" sounds the most like Mudvayne - one of mainstream metal's broadest-appealing bands - particularly vocalist Matt Williams, whose growl, rhythmic phrasing and melodic singing incorporate for an effect very similar to Chad Gray's. Bio

We are four individuals “hell bent” and determined on leading a revolution to bring back genuine, heartfelt and soul-driven inspiration to a long wandering music scene. Our goals are being successful in both the live world and the recording world. As a group, we have struggled in the past with undecided directions. However, with time spent together as musicians, and more importantly as brothers, we have worked endlessly to define our sound.

These are songs that we feel portray art, power, beauty and depth to collectively form music that will stir the soul, as well as shake the ground. As seriously as we take our dreams and goals, we have all had to learn patience, not only with each other, but with life and ourselves. Individuals with virtues rarely come by and we feel we have not only found common ones amongst us, but have grown with these virtues as a group.

Our friends and fans deserve the highest form of respect and appreciation that we can offer. Their patience, diligence, and loyalty have done nothing less than driven us forward. No matter where and how far this revolution road takes us, we will never forget those on the other side of the stage. The listeners, the true fans are the reason, they are the why and they are the first and last note to every song we write. The true heroes of “Music”- The Rebels.
