"Heroin UK and Sonadors Live"

The Short List (March 12, 2008)
Author: Michael Byrne

"Sunday, swing on over to Joe2 Pizza for stoned as all hell, garage rock punk from Heroin UK and the Sonadors..." - Baltimore City Paper

"Birds of Maya - Sonadors - Talking Head Club"

Not so into the Raveonettes or Thrushes, that’s OK. Just for you, here’s a great show with a completely
different feel. Baltimore dreamers the Sonadors exchange the experimental impulses of their previous incarnation as Hymnen for more traditional pop
sensibility and song structure to create their oft-majestic, moody rock. Afterwards, Philly’s Birds
of Maya delivers their own fiercely grooving, blues-informed take on punk. - brightestyoungthings.com

Bio

The Sonadors include 3 members from Baltimore's late-great Hymnen. Following where Hymnen left off they are composing songs in a more traditional fashion instead of the experimental head-trips that Hymnen some times took you on... Each member has been performing for more than half their lives (that's 15 years!), they have a deep respect for all music, and have reaffirmed their right to be called "Dreamers"...
