Cambridge quartet Silent Service play energetic pop tunes with a decidedly rock edge. In their two years together, they have managed to assemble an arsenal of tights songs with strong compositions and lyrics about something other than their girlfriends leaving them. - CMJ

Bio
Cast in 2004 as an outfit driven by the singular purpose of writing good songs. Silent Service blends together the catchy guitar rock of bands like The Strokes and The Cars with the explosive live power of The Who. Complimenting the music are lyrics and vocals that pull you in like the greatest ipod shuffle. The result is distinctly recognizable; like the scent of an ex you can still pick-up, on the t-shirt you never gave back.
Silent Service is also about moving forward with swagger. They are the soundtrack for a night spent looking for your NEW ex. So put that old shirt away. Pull on your F*me jeans and head out with Silent Service.
