Bio

"Music is in my blood," and in his heart and soul due, in part, from a life surrounded in music. Seanessy's father was a musician who traveled doing tours and live performances. When he was a young child, he traveled with his father across much of the country, attending many of these shows and spent hours in various studios while his father recorded his music.

Seanessy found his way into the rap music scene while growing up in San Francisco. The influence of the multi-cultural districts of the city instilled in him a deep and personal understanding of the different types of music offered in this unique environment. He began rapping to his father's lyrics which then led to his finding his own words to rap to.

Seanessy recorded his first rap tape when he was only seven-years-old; from there, he never looked back. By the time he was eleven, he was listening to - and being influenced by - the raps of the Getto Boys, Ice Cube, and local Bay Area artists such as Too Short, Rappin 4-Tay, and JT the Bigga Figga. The rapping talent of San Francisco and the Bay Area artists became his main influences. They represented, for him, a strong sense of life in this diverse - and often difficult - environment: He could relate, personally, to what they were rapping about. As he got older, he knew that he, too, could convey his experiences growing up in the city in this same way.

Soon after starting high school, Seanessy's mother decided to move him out of the Bay Area to separate him from the street activities he was beginning to experience. They moved to the small, rural town of Oroville - in Butte County, CA - where he became involved in sports and continued to pursue his music by recording his own rap tapes in his living room and passing them out to his friends.

Later, after having attended college at Chico State for a few years, he decided to take it to the next level. After seeing those around him making their own CDs; he felt that he, too, could move forward into the rap music scene in much the same way. While continuing with school, he began to do features and began to write more of - and eventually record - his own songs. He had always enjoyed the reactions of people as they listened to his rap music, and hoped that by pushing forward and performing more, he would begin to open new doors for himself, and perhaps someday even meet some of the artists he grew up listening to.
