Rob Released is first album 4 years ago with 5 songs written by himself. Five songs co written with song writers in Nashville. Four songs of the Rob Russell Cd did very well at radio in Canada and in the US. Then Rob came out with his second Cd with one song written by Rob and the rest written by song writers in Canada and in the US. The second Cd called Turnin Heads is doing GREAT around the world with international airplay in Australia , Germany , UK ,Scotland and Japan.

Rob" Winning International Independent Album Of the Year in January 2009 with judges like Clint Black , George Jones, Keith Urban and Rick Springfield...Also Nominated for Recording of The Year at the (ECMA's)East Coast Music Awards in Corner Brook Newfoundland , March 2009.HBO bought the rights to "Just Walk Away" for a made for TV movie series called Dirty Driving (Fast Cars of Indiana) and the song "Hard to be an outlaw" was co written by Derrick Ruttan Rob can sing a song and be soft and easy which can make you cry or sing a song with big vocals and drive that makes you want to get up and dance your feet off. Rob opened for bands like the Stampeders, April wine and Nazarath. Played on stage with Dierks Bentley, The late great Jeff Healey. Play at the CCMA's in Newbrunswick. Big Valley in Camrose Alberta. Clubs and Bars From Newfoundland to British Columbia. Many Gigs through out the Calgary Stampede. Driving Big Rig for a living when not singing or playing Rob is known to pull over on the side of the road and write a song.
