The People's Arts Festival, Detroit's largest free music and art festival, and On The Rocks Detroit will be selecting a minimum of 10 Sonicbids artists to perform on two stages, August 28-29. All genres are welcome to apply to this very eclectic festival. The festival attracted 5000 attendees last year. While there is no monetary compensation, selected artists will receive drink tickets, food and access to the VIP lounge during the festival./n/nThe People's Arts Festival began as a grassroots art and music festival in 2007 in Detroit. Since 2007 the festival has grown to become Detroit's largest free music and art festival, attracting over 35 artists and 5000 attendees last year. On the Rocks Detroit, a publicity and promotions company, will be booking two stages on Saturday August 28 and Sunday August 29, 2010. A minimum of 10 Sonicbids artists will be selected.

In addition, the People's Arts Festival is a high profile event and selected artists will be included in promotional materials and press releases, increasing the likelihood of media coverage.
