Bio
Nicoletta Manzini, saxophonist, composer and educator, has always strived for musical excellence. Born and raised in Italy , as a teenager she earned a degree in classical saxophone.

She was “discovered “by Francis Paudras, jazz patron and close friend of Bud Powell, whose story is told in the film by Bertrand Tavernier, “round midnight “, interpreted by Dexter Gordon. Paudras invited her to Paris where she open the concert for Ray Charles, at the Paris jazz fest, withJackie Terrasson, Pierre Bousseget, Bob Demeo.
