Q. Public

 Q.public a West Philly native first felt a connection to music when  he was 5 years old. Always around his two older cousins, one a dj and the other a rapper, hip hop culture had a major influence in his life. Growing up listening to Wu-Tang, Jay-Z, Nas, Biggie, Mic Geronimo and Black Moon and witnessing the rise to stardom in his neighborhood of rappers Cool-C and Will Smith, made his path evident. When Q. was 16 he belonged to group called “Live and Direct” they released the single, “We All Trynna Eat”. After a 3 year run the group went their separate ways. Thus, Q. began his solo career ghostwriting for, Boy 1der Productions. After a few years ghostwriting he decided to step out from behind the curtain, performing his music around the East Coast and the Dirty South with his promoters, 5Starr Promotions.While working with 5starr Q. released the single “Playground” which got him nominated for  “Male Artist of The Year” at The Philly Hip-Hop Music Awards. After a short hiatus Q. relocated to Atlanta and decided to bring his music back with vengeance! Q. recently released his hit single “On Lean” which is available on iTunes.
