"San Antonio Music: “Memory of a Melody” rock the Garage"

By Christina Rodriguez, Host of ‘The Garage ‘

SAN ANTONIO – This week’s band, Memory of a Melody, consider it their role to be a reason to unite and a means of positivity in a time where it is easy to be negative. The band formed in April of 2008, and as the winners of the 2009 KISS/Miller Light Battle of the Bands, has established themselves throughout the region as a high energy, crowd-pleasing act. They have been fortunate to share the stage with such artists as Chevelle, 10 years, Lit, Royal Bliss, Framing Hanley, Adelitas Way, and others.

Bio

Memory of a Melody takes metal by its horns into a new era. Incorporating all we know and love about metal - intricate riffs, guitar solos, and pounding rhythm, and mixing it with new-school groove and vocal melody to bridge the gap between mainstream and underground. Memory of a Melody has had the opportunity to share the stage with well known national acts including, Chevelle, LIT, Cold, The Toadies, Egypt Central, Sepultura, 10 Years, Kopek, Powerman 5000, Framing Hanley, Tantric, Adema, and many more! The band has just released their debut album with producer, Bryan Scott current Cult To Follow frontman, and former the Union Underground frontman. With a new record, busy touring schedule, and a well-devised plan of attack, expect to see domination as the band unleashes its fury.
