Summary
VH1 Save The Music and Sonicbids are booking 4 Sonicbids bands to play the VH1 Save The Music Showcase at Pianos in NYC. Selected artists will receive exposure to more than 200,000 fans through VH1 Save The Music and Sonicbids' social networks.
The Opportunity
VH1 Save The Music Showcase is a benefit concert for the VH1 Save The Music Foundation. The Foundation has provided $51 million dollars worth of new musical instruments to more than 1,900 public schools in more than 192 school districts across the country. The goal of this event is to bring together artists who are supportive of music education.
The showcase takes place in the downstairs showroom of Pianos, a 200-cap venue dedicated to celebrating local and touring artists. It is one of the mainstay venues of the Lower East Side music scene in NYC.
All of the proceeds from the $5 submission fee will be donated to the VH1 Save The Music Foundation to support music education nationwide.

Passion Pit, Andrew W.K, Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, Cold War Kids
The Band
- Must be age 21+ (all band members)
- Indie rock, pop and folk music
- Must be able to draw 20-30 people
- Full bands preferred
The Gig
Details:
- Time slots are 7pm to 12am
- Sound and lights provided
- Backline provided
- All proceeds will go directly to the VH1 Save The Music Foundation
- 1/2 price drinks all night
- Artists may sell merchandise on site
- The event will be promoted through VH1 Save The Music and Sonicbids' social media to 200,000 followers!
