The Boston Urban Music Festival is booking 1 Sonicbids artist to play its 5th annual festival on City Hall Plaza August 24th AND another artist to play the pre-party on August 23rd at Good Life.
The Opportunity
An evolution of the Peace Hip Hop Festival, the Boston Urban Music Festival (BUMF) offers a view of the urban music scene in and around Boston celebrating the best of Hip-Hop, R&B, Funk and Soul. The festival attracts 40,000 attendees each year and promises to be just as big in 2014 with Talib Kweli as the headlining act.
The pre-party at Good Life on August 23rd will feature The Arcitype and Mr. Fritz, and ties in with the monthly event Fresh Produce.
The Brain Trust and One If By Land Productions are handling the booking for BUMF. The Brain Trust is an established brand in hip hop and electronic music known for both booking shows and hosting a talented roster of artists. One If By Land Productions is a full-service talent-buying and concert production company.
