Summary
Midem has teamed up with Grey and LongHorn Steakhouse to give you the opportunity to submit a bold track for a national advertising campaign. 10 original songs will be selected as pitch candidates. If a track is chosen for broadcast, the artist will receive a minimum $10,000 payment.
The Opportunity
LongHorn Steakhouse is in search of a bad ass, bold music track that breaks convention and elevates LongHorn Steakhouse beyond the ho-hum status quo of everyday commercial crap. A track that stands up against the tide of cheesy predictability & tells a story - brash, never shy.
For 30 years, LongHorn Steakhouse has proudly served steaks, chicken and fish that are always fresh, never frozen. Enjoy the warm, friendly atmosphere and flavor of the American West. Relax and let their team show you what Western hospitality is all about.
The Band
- Instrumental only
- Original only
- Must be 60 seconds and able to be cut down to 30 seconds for use across a variety of media
- Bold, hard driving track with catchy licks and swagger
- Musical hook at beginning or end of track a plus (hook should be 2-5 seconds long)
- Open to artists from all countries
- Open to all genres
The Gig
Details:
- The top 10 tracks will be chosen by the world famous Grey Advertising Agency (presented by Grey's Music Director at Midem on Monday June 8, 2015)
- The top track will then have a chance to be used in a national advertising campaign
- If a track is chosen for broadcast, the artist will receive a minimum $10,000 payment
- There will be no further payments other than writer and publishing royalties that will be generated from the performance of the music in relation to any advertising campaigns
