Summary
Roadtrip Nation is looking for the music of 25 Sonicbids artists to be featured in their nationally televised program. Selected artists will be compensated through their PRO.
The Opportunity
Entering its twelfth season on television, Roadtrip Nation is a documentary series following the journeys of young people as they road trip across America, seeking words of wisdom from leaders who have built their lives around what lights them up. Past Roadtrippers have interviewed a variety of leaders, including the CEO of Starbucks, CNN anchor Soledad O'Brien, actor Craig Robinson, musician Amir Questlove Thompson, and Rep. Barney Frank.
Roadtrip Nation is dedicated to supporting independent musicians and uses music in a variety of platforms: a television documentary series, exclusive online content, a nationwide college campus tour, an interactive educational curriculum, soundtracks, and more.

The Band
- Wide variety of genres encouraged to submit
- Most interested in hip-hop, dance, pop, alternative, electronic genres
- Instrumental tracks are welcome
- No explicit lyrics
- No music from artists signed to major labels
The Gig
Details:
- The series will air on public television in the fall of 2015 with DVD release to follow
- Artists compensated for airplay on public television through Performing Rights Organization (ASCAP, BMI, etc)
- Artist name/song title listed in credits
- Artist profile built on Roadtrip Nation site to promote bands
