EXTENDED DEADLINE! Luck you -- we've extended our submission deadline to June 28th!  

Indie Week Canada 2019 is reserving 50 slots for Sonicbids artists. All selected artists will receive festivals wristbands and passes to attend the music festival, indie101 conference and other special events.

Indie Week features:

  • National and International acts
  • Taking over many venues across downtown Toronto

  • Demo listening sessions
  • Industry panels, workshops and talks on the most current Music related topics
  • Awards Night
  • 4am last call

The Opportunity

Indie Week Canada has become one of Canada's premiere indie music festivals showcasing acts from all over the world in front of music industry professionals.

Indie Week offers 6 amazing nights of showcases, late last call after parties serving until 4am, music industry panels, mentorships, sponsored stages and more.

The Band

  • Indie Week is open to all genres except comedy and cover acts
  • Bands/artists must not be signed directly to a major label. Bands signed to an indie label with major distribution are still allowed to apply

The Gig

Details:

  • Set lengths are 30 minutes on average
  • Sound equipment (mics, PA's, monitors) will be supplied
  • Basic backline (drum kit - no breakables, bass and guitar amps) will be provided

All selected artists receive festival wristbands and passes for Indie Week Canada events (value - $125 per band member) including access to
