The Opportunity
Now in its 4th year, the 2015 Ajusco Festival takes place at Tocho Ajusco in Ajusco, Mexico City, Mexico. This 2-day music festival for new, independent bands features over 90 bands on an outdoor stage, gourmet food trucks and attracts over 5,000 attendees.
Located south of Mexico City, Ajusco is a lava dome volcano, its peak a popular destination for residents of Mexico City and tourists. With activities like mountain biking, horseback riding and hiking, and views of the Valley of Mexico, Popocatepetl, Iztaccihuatl and Nevado de Toluca volcanoes, the area has a lot to offer. The Ajusco area is also home to Six Flags Mexico (the largest amusement park in Latin America), the TV Azteca television network and more.
