Summary

The youbloom A&R team is booking 20 Sonicbids artists for the first annual youbloom@LA and providing festival passes to selected artists.  

youbloom@LA will feature up to 100 multi-genre artists with about half from LA and the other half made up of other US and International acts.  It is expected to have about 3,000-5,000 attendees, many of whom are in the industry.  The night shows will take place in NELA (north east LA) venues such as Cafe Nela, The Cave, Footsies, and The York.  Approximately 50 Sonicbids artists have been booked for previous youbloom events, like youbloom@dublin.

The Opportunity

youbloom is a growing community of musicians, fans and industry joined together by a love of music and the arts. They believe in the possibility of everyone finding their voice and expressing it in a world with lots more singing and dancing, a world where more and more artists are able to sustain themselves in what they love doing.  youbloom is all about a community of artists worldwide sharing and experiencing music together. In that spirit, they are asking each selected artist/band that is based in Los Angeles to "adopt" a visiting artist/band.  This will include helping them find accommodations, additional gigs, gear, etc.

There will also be a conference taking place during the day on November 15/16th and will include one-on-one speed sessions with industry experts, panels, master classes, keynote speech by British A&R legend Nigel Grainge and learning rooms.  The theme for this year's conference is "Beautiful Vision."

The Band

The Gig

  • Stages have a full backline 
  • Professional sound engineers included
  • Lighting engineers included
  • Sets typically run 30 minutes 
  • Set are anywhere between 8 PM and midnight
