Summary
Atlanta Pride is the premier Gay and Lesbian festival in the Southeast, and one of the largest in the entire country. With over 300,000 annual attendees, this event draws visitors from around the world. At least six Sonicbids artists are guaranteed to perform.
The event will take place in Atlanta's beautiful Piedmont Park located in midtown. The deadline for submissions is Aug 1st and artists will know whether they were selected or not by Sep 5th.
This is a great opportunity for artists to showcase talents and perform in front of a lively, broad-ranging audience. While there is only minimal compensation for performers, some consideration may be made for transportation or other items. There is room for a variety of artists and performers; so a variety of genres are encouraged to apply.
The main purpose of Atlanta Pride is to promote unity, visibility and self-esteem among lesbians, gay men, bisexuals and transgender persons, and to promote a positive image of the LGBT community in the Atlanta area and throughout the Southeastern United States through community activities and services.

Terms And Conditions
The Atlanta Pride Committee is currently accepting applications from performers to perform during the 2 days of Pride weekend 2014.
We ask that all artists be patient during our selection process. All application packages must contain ALL of the required materials. Any incomplete submissions may not be considered.
Please remember: HATE will not be tolerated and all lyrics must be suitable for children.
Submitted material becomes the property of The Atlanta Pride Committee, Inc. and will not be returned. If artist is accepted, this application constitutes permission of use of name and likeness in all marketing, collateral and other related materials.
This application does not constitute acceptance by the Atlanta Pride Committee, Inc., nor an offer to any Performer to participate in the Atlanta Pride Festival Information provided herein is subject to incorporation in any agreement executed by Performer.
Applications must be completed and received by Aug 1, 2014 to be considered. In order to be considered for the 2014 Atlanta Pride Celebration, we need to have a sample of your music and/or your performances. It is also important to know about you as an artist, so a short bio and any press clippings available, are helpful.
One of the best ways to get a 'sense' about you and /or your group is to see you live. We will make every reasonable effort to work with you by attending performances to see your work, provided we are given reasonable notice and access to the event. Atlanta Pride Committee is a volunteer, nonprofit, organization, and we are committed to ensuring our volunteers and partners are treated with respect and dignity. We ask that you also respect their time and availability.

Atlanta Pride Committee does not pay agent fees, however, the application can be submitted by agents or others representing artists.
