Bio
The core unit of Triage is vocalist Eugene Goss and keyboardist Billy Larkin.
Eugene Goss is one of Cincinnati's treasures. His vocal skills are matched only by his proficiency on percussion. Winner of The Cammy Award for Best Jazz Vocalist in 2002 and voted best jazz artist in 2004 by CityBeat magazine, Eugene's voice is boundless and reflects a range of styles from Satchmo to Miles and Sinatra to Pavarotti.
He is well versed in the percussive traditions of South America and Africa and his unique contribution to the sonic landscape of Triage is immeasurable.
Billy Larkin is a veteran of the Cincinnati music scene and has been bringing his individual brand of musical artistry to audiences for over 30 years.
Winner of the Cammy Award for Best Jazz Instrumentalist in 2003, Billy is a composer and arranger who defies easy categorization and helps define true expression through the collaborative process.
The drummer position is somewhat of a moving chair. Randy Winters is the primary choice and was the original drummer. His unerring tempo, remarkable patterns and tuneful sound make him a valuable addition to the group.
Other drummers include:Teddy Wilburn,
Francis Wyatt, Marc Wolfley, Art Gore and Brian Baverman-all top-notch leaders in their field.
