When you're used to having one way conversations, it's nice to have some responses. ... After a brief, almost Howard Dean-esque announcement, the band ... I was curious about Dr. Arvin Scott so I skipped the last bit of Bruce to see him. Man, if there was a prize to find this weekend, it was him. ...

Hi Dr. Scott,
Thank you for coming out and being our guest for the jazz and arts festival this year. We really enjoyed the performance. We had over 1,000 people attend the festival that day. It seemed like a steady flow of people that would come and go every hour. I hope you had a good time and that everything was well prepared for you. If you have input on how I can help make this event better, please let me know and I'll be sure to bring it up in our preparation meetings for next year. The touch of world influence was exactly what we needed to add to this festival.

Dr Scott
Greetings. I am working with Drew Page at the Athens Economic Development Foundation on a video to show companies who are considering relocating to Athens. The concept of the video is very simple. It’s just title screens and scenes of anything and everything Athens: from culture, festivals, dining, entertainment, shopping, recreation, school systems, UGA, etc. We are looking for some simple percussive music to score the video and couldn’t think of a more perfect fit than your music. We’ve gone through a , lot of stock music and it, in addition to being technically and creatively inferior to yours, none of it comes close in authenticity. Who better to score a video about Athens than an Athens musician?
We are on a terribly tight deadline, unfortunately, and need to know in the next 24 hrs if at all possible what we’d have to do to secure the rights to your music in terms of payment and licensing for this particular project. You may email or call my cell number listed below. Thanks!

A genius at work!

If you love drums, be prepared to be blown away. Arvin is a master, I compare him to noone. I found his first CD in a little store, and have followed him ever since. His music is timeless, worldly, and so natural that you will want to listen, and listen and listen to his work. You won't be disappointed, and what's more ... you'll want to share your 'find' with others. Bravo Arvin, I LOVE that I found you!
Mad sounds with masterful beats!!

I heard Arvin Scott when I was in Athens for an outing and was blown away by this man. His sound is original with mellow smooth jazzy beats. I bought his first cd and couldn't wait until he released this one because I played it while driving back to the Midwest and was not disappointed. Arvin Scott has the potential to be catapulted to the top of the charts.
Beautiful piece of work

This CD blew my mind. I played so much the first two days that it melted in my car CD player.
