Bio
Evidence was formed in 2005 in central Wisconsin as three jazz musicians found themselves in close proximity of each other. Sharing a sense of exploration and experimentation in music, Sara Rifleman, Cully Swansen and Ryan Biesack formed the trio to try new ideas and compositions. Evidence plays in the central Wisconsin area, and all three members work regularly with other artists.

Cully Swansen- Bass
Co-founded the group 'Happy Apple' in 1996 with Dave King and Michael Lewis - co-produced their first CD 'Blown Shockwaves and Crash Flow'. Producer and performer on two CDs with the Brazilian group 'Mandala'. Has performed with Louis Bellson, Gene Bertoncini, Jack McDuff, Debbie Duncan, Dean Granros, and many others.
Sara Rifleman- Piano
Sara has spent most of her adult life as a music educator and performer. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Jazz Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay and earned her Master of Music degree in Jazz Performance from Western Michigan University. She had studied with Arthur Cohrs, Christine Paquin-Salerno, John Salerno, and Stephen Zegree. Throughout the years, Sara also had the opportunity to perform with great entertainers such as Bobby Vinton, Shirley Jones, Peabo Bryson, Marilyn McCoo, Bill Medley, and Roberta Flack.
Ryan Biesack - Drums
Ryan has recorded, studied and performed with many great musicians around the world. He co-lead the trio, Radio Therapy, in India for one year. He has been fortunate enough to play and record with Esperanto (India), Neanderthal Alien (Netherlands), Jason Seed Trio, Jalan Crossland, Mo Phillips and L.J. Booth. He has also shared the stage with such greats as Kurt Elling, Bobby McFerrin, Andy Middleton and Bill Mays. Ryan has a Bachelor of Music Jazz Performance from the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point. Ryan teaches privately and remains very active in the Wisconsin jazz scene.
