Deborah Berg is a New York City-based performing songwriter whose latest musical work has been compared to Patty Griffin, Dolly Parton, and Loretta Lynn. She is proud to be an official Martin Guitar and Sennheiser endorsed artist.
Deborahs most recent CD, "No Rush" (2012), is a country-based collection of 10 original songs. Her country single, "Goin' Nowhere," has played on over 87 terrestrial radio stations. She was a featured ARTIST TO WATCH on iHeartRadio NEW! Discover & Uncover (through Clear Channel).
Deborah has written and published over 50 original and co-written songs. In 2009, collaborating with Doug Katsaros, Deborah created the new theme song for Great Museums, the only nationwide television series devoted to Americas museums.
In the 1980s, Deborah and British music composer, Julian Marshall, formed the duo Eye to Eye, produced by Gary Katz (Steely Dan) and recorded two classic albums with Warner Brothers: Eye to Eye and Shakespeare Stole My Baby, releasing the top 100 single Nice Girls.
In 2006, the duo recorded a third independent CD, Clean Slate, produced by Rhett Davies (Roxy Music, 'Til Tuesday).
In 1999, she recorded and produced her first solo album, Places Where I Dream.
She also performs in and around New York City with both her solo project and with Dusty, a gal trio (Deborah Berg, Sherryl Marshall, and Lesley Miller), who sing close harmonies with a country band to funk, R&B, disco, and original songs.
