TRASH FASHION RELEASE DEBUT ALBUM NIGHTS OF ERROR 20 October 2008
The notorious Trash Fashion release their debut album Nights of Error through Propaganda Records on 20 October 2008. As the bands first full-length release, following two successful EPs, Trash Fashion are set to stir up the critics again with 12 tracks of bass thumping, guitar wielding, synth twiddling warehouse party essentials.
Uncompromising, unapologetic, often misunderstood, always inventive, this is Trash Fashion. Forget what you think you know about them and prepare yourself for the Nights of Error you always wanted to have. And yes, fear not, featuring on the album is, of course, the underground viral hit Rave Dave remixed, rearranged, darker and nastier but still the classic that started the revolution.
Being the generous chaps they are Trash Fashion have made opening track Beat Goes Round available to download for free as a pre-album taster from their MySpace page. Nights of Error also features Trash Fashions moshers vs club kids track Why Cant We Be Friends?, inspired by a support slot for The Horrors in front of a very un-harmonious crowd. The first single to be taken from the album will be the Daft Punk-esque stomp of (almost) title track Night of Error released 15 September 2008.
The Trash Fashion story is a colourful one. It may have started in the somewhat less than glamorous city of Birmingham but the band has taken brothers Jet & Mason Storm (vocals/synths and guitar respectively) and drummer Bam Bam, from London to Moscow via pretty much the entirety of Europe and even Texan music-Mecca South By South West music conference in March 2008. Along the way there have been brief flirtations with reality TV, celebrity dating & associated paparazzi stalking, a Japan-only mini album on the Vinyl Junkie label, and most recently, a new recruit in the form of bassist Jimbo. With mainland Europe becoming a home from home for Trash Fashion plans are in the pipeline for another time zone spanning tour, which will no doubt see a repeat of Trash Fashions sell-out club shows.
