'edited' is the trio formed by acclaimed performing songwriters Mark Davis (OC-LA Times "best album of the 1990's"), Brett Perkins ("Songs and vocals in the company of George Harrison, Elvis Costello and Neil Finn" - Real Roots Magazine, Belgium) and David Zink (1999 Top DIY Pick "Pyro", Performing Songwriter Magazine). The three have toured together as solo artists. Audience response to their combined solo and trio performances have gone through the roof. Audiences say they hear something unique, but with influences of Crosby, Stills & Nash, Crowded House, Counting Crows, The Sherpas, Berkely/Hart, Bruce Cockburn and Richard Thompson. A typical performance will start with short solo sets and finish with the trio's co-writes. Three part harmonies, interesting guitar and percussion arrangements. Bare and powerful music on mature existential/spiritual themes.
