Summary

Expose your act to the Canadian college and university market. Founded in 1982, the Canadian Organization of Campus Activities (COCA) is the only association dedicated purely to campus activities programming in Canada.

The COCA National Conference provides an excellent opportunity for colleges & universities, booking agencies and self-represented artists to gather together, network, showcase, exhibit and conduct business. More than 25 showcase opportunities are available in various categories.

COCA is the place to be to get in front of Canadian student activities planners! More than 130 student and staff buyers (school delegates) from approximately 60 schools across the country are expected to attend the 2014 COCA National Conference in Niagara Falls, Ontario, June 2-6, 2014.In addition, more than 75 associate delegates representing 45 companies and artists will be represented in the Campus Activities Biz Hall, COCAs trade show.

Artists that are selected to showcase must become COCA associates or be represented by a company that is, or will become, a COCA associate. All selected showcase acts must be represented in the trade show either by the act itself or by a company representing the act. Associate membership and associate conference registration (trade show) forms are available at the COCA Web site under Conferences National Conference 2014 National see List of Associate forms at bottom of page. Showcasing at a COCA Conference involves several fees. If selected to showcase, you must pay all applicable fees by April 2, 2014. To review these fees, go to: coca.org Conference & Meetings National Conference 2014 National scroll down to Showcase Info.

Please note: Artists will receive selection status by Friday, March 21, 2014. If you have any questions about the fees paid to COCA for Showcasing, Membership or Conference Registration (including trade show booth), please direct them to the COCA Office at 519-690-0207 or by email through the Contact button on the COCA web site. Sonicbids is not responsible for refunds associated with your COCA submission.

Terms And Conditions

In recent years, COCA has been running some of its showcases in public venues such as nightclubs to better mimic the campus pub situation. Often these public venues are made open to the public in order to fill the room and to create a warmer showcase atmosphere. If your act is selected to showcase, you must agree to allow members of the general public to be present during your showcase.

Other than sound, lighting and normal stage equipment (backline), COCA will not be financially responsible for any special equipment required by attraction. Your act MUST use backline gear provided by COCA to facilitate stage changeovers.

Selection results will be communicated by email and announced on the COCA Web site by Monday, March 17, 2014 go to:
