At first listen he is just like any other pop-rock singer/songwriter. But it's the second listen that gets you. Well, maybe it was the first, because after that you just have to listen again. Cary Judd, is an amazing musician and poet. In just ten songs, he is able to pick us up and place us right in the middle of his world. These songs have perfect pop sensibility and are accessible by all music fans. Songs like 'Glow' and 'The Lights Are Always On' are catchy and appealing because of the connections they make to the listener. His voice, similar to that of Matt Nathanson, is soothing and straightforward. He's your brother, your son, your friend. He's a real individual with real experiences and emotions. The thing that set him apart is he is able to convey all of that, while still staying true to reality, through song. Cary Judd is a true star in the making, and on this, his second independent release, he makes his case well. Cary Judd: Perfect Uncertain
With a simple sound comprised of acoustic and bass guitars, drums and background vocals, Cary Judd proves that you don't need much more to make an album shine. It's acoustic rock and roll that makes you fall in love with the strings. Lyrically, this album is quite illustrious in its ability to convey honesty and raw feelings. If you're looking for a comparative artist, I'd have to say Judd has all the makings of a young Matt Nathanson with a twist of Dashboard Confessional. In "The First Farewell," Judd aggressively sings, "Hopefully we've spent some time alive/So go out now and become something that you'll be proud to say/'That was me up there, and I wasn't scared to be me'." As he fervently wails on his guitar throughout the album, it's clear to see that Judd's strength is in songwriting. "Cohen's Stairs" is a heartfelt memoir summed up in a song about someone dear to Judd. You can really feel Judd's soul in this album; he opens up to you personally through his music and does so in a way that leaves the acoustic fiends eager to hear more. Be sure to let the last track play to its end...a surprise awaits you.

Cary Judd has been traversing the continent for the last 5 years, performing in every imaginable arena from house concerts to stadiums.
His brand of genuine song writing coupled with his compelling live show, never fails to leave an impression on an audience. He surrounds himself on stage with an array of instrumentation, from loop machines, sequencers, effect pedals, and drums to the acoustic guitar that sits at the heart of his songs. His story telling and dead pan humor continue to endear him to audiences of all demographics.
Cary was born and raised in the town of Thousand Oaks, California, the once rural town just north of Los Angeles. He now lives in the mountains just north of Jackson Hole, Wyoming where he spends his time off the road wandering through the alpine forests.
