Summary

Prime Social Group is proud to announce details of the inaugural Breakaway Music Festival, an all-new concert series presented at Major League Soccer stadiums across the country. Each large-scale event will feature a genre-busting multi-artist bill spanning indie, EDM, pop, hip-hop, and beyond.

On Saturday, September 14th the Breakaway Festival will be hitting the Columbus Crew Stadium in Columbus, Ohio – home to The Columbus Crew and the first soccer-specific stadium ever built for an MLS franchise. The line-up will feature a breathtakingly diverse roster, including such luminaries as Bassnectar, Kendrick Lamar, and Ohio’s own Machine Gun Kelly. Breakaway Festival is reserving 2 slots for Sonicbids artists to perform alongside these national acts. The selected artists will be performing during the day at the local stage.

Additionally on September 21, 2013 Breakaway Music Festival will be hitting FC Dallas Stadium in Frisco, Texas – the 20,500-capacity soccer-specific home stadium to MLS’ FC Dallas. The event – set to get underway at 1 pm, with gates opening at noon – will see performances and DJ sets from Wu Tang Clan, Matt & Kim, Empire of the Sun, and many more.
