Bobby is a soulful, sensitive performer and songwriter; his highly spirited Funky Folk and Soul sound takes his music far beyond the realms of singer songwriter.....
His lyrics carry messages laden with spiritual and social imperative and are delivered with supreme musical and vocal dexterity. ....Jesus Christ is at center of his life and work but asked as to his religious preference, he replies, “I am that I am. ........Its not the branch that matters, it’s the ground its planted in..... whether Christian, Buddhist, Hindu, Muslim..... They’re all just labels, means of identifying.... Its not important what I am, its important that I am....” Love is my religion....
Bobby’s album “The Future History” was released in 2007 and is a collection of beautifully crafted songs that truly capture the soul, treating it with love and care before handing it back to you with a smile that says its all good.......
In 2007 Bobby set up Sacred Root Productions with brother Fergal to facilitate the writing and recording of non-professional musicians , to date they have produced a 17 track cd SONGLINES recorded in a phsyciatric day care center and most currently an 18 track cd with the teenagers of the southeast of Ireland check out the links below for details ...
