The Blowout Lounge is a monthly showcase that originated in New York City. Since the inaugural event in April 2006, notable featured artists that have already played the Blowout Lounge showcase include: SP!T film star and spoken word poet Oveous Maximus, vocalist/rapper St. Juste, Danish Soul-singer Jonas, and PJ Morton, son of Gospel legend Bishop Morton. Past guest appearances also include HBO Def Poet Mark Gonzales and HBO actor and poet muMs.
Now, the Blowout Lounge Circuit is coming to major metropolitan cities this Spring 2008. One additional artist/act local to each city will be featured. Urban soul acts are strongly encouraged to submit their EPK! Please submit your EPK if you are within 25 miles of any of the following cities:

All performance dates fall between March 18, 2008 and May 14, 2008. Selected artists must perform with their own equipment. There will be no backline unless provided by the venue. Artists will be compensated for their performance with a 50% door split after the 10th paying fan.
