Reverse Order's latest release, Right Now, has a very cool pop-rock sound that is very
competitive with some of the top commercial acts we hear in the genre. With a Grammy
nomination for their hit single, Go, these fellas are well on their way to become mega Top
40 stars once they get that breakthrough at radio. I can see it now, sold out stadiums full
of high school and college girls going insane over Reverse Order.
Their sound is somewhat of a fusion between Green Day, Weezer and Owl City. These
guys are working hard and staying active, opening up for such hit acts like Third Eye
Blind and All Star Weekend, as well as performances on the Warped Tour and America's
Got Talent.
After going through their songs, Sing For Me Baby and Go are definitely assets to the
band's reputation. Vocally, Reverse Order's delivery is comparable to that of Owl City
and Green Day which is a familiar sound to audiences, making it easier to feel at home
listening to each song because you know its good. Musically, I immediately knew that
Reverse Order has the potential to steal some fans from other pop-rock bands. There
are a lot of high energy, fast-paced guitar riffs going off in each song and the drums and
bass sit very well into the overall sound.
I would recommend Reverse Order to any fan of the earlier mentioned bands because that particular audience will eat this album up. You should go check them out and see why they rock. - I AM ENTERTAINMENT MAGAZINE Music Review

On Wednesday, Jan. 27, 17-year-old New Jersey native John Russo kicked off his first tour at Hot Topic in Spotsylvania Towne Centre.
Russo's tour will cover places all over the country, including Tennessee, Arizona, Texas and even California. Before the show, he explained in an interview that he graduated early from high school to start touring in order to really learn what the music business is all about.
Prior to his big solo tour, Russo performed with his brother Cruise in their band, Reverse Order. The band has played at shows such as Bamboozle, and even the Warped Tour.
While walking around the mall , it was easy to point out the fans there to hear the amazing sound that is John Russo. Hot Topic began setting up, and the crowd began to get situated between the racks of "Twilight" gear and "Alice in Wonderland" T-shirts.
As the acoustic show began, the amount of talent that flew out of the speakers was unbelievable. Russo's voice was so crisp and grasping--it was hard not to listen.
Even if a boy singing with a guitar isn't quite up your alley, it's hard to resist the foot-tapping effect that Russo's music creates. He describes his sound as "pop-punk, with a bit of acoustic too." Could that get any better? Of course not!
So, what made this great performer want to be a musician? "When I was like 6 years old, I somehow came to the conclusion that guys that could play guitar got girls," said Russo.
His decision to go on tour unfortunately meant some sacrifices, he said. "A lot of people reacted differently. My girlfriend broke up with me, and my one friend wouldn't talk to me--but it's all good."
However, Russo believes in himself and encourages others to remember never to give up on their dreams to become musicians, and to just know that it's a hard business.
With his amazing music, and star appeal, there is no doubt that Russo will go far. He is outgoing, fun and likes to live his life "having fun, with no regrets."

To Whom It May Concern:
This is a letter of recommendation for Reverse Order. We have had the pleasure of working with Reverse Order during the past 3 years at the Quick Chek New Jersey Festival of Ballooning. The band was hired to play at our entertainment/hospitality tent during the festival.
I can easily state that the band provided an excellent experience for our customers and guests each and every time they took the stage. Not only are they outstanding musicians, they would bring so much excitement to the performance. It was especially apparent that this group is made up of top professionals this past year, as the temperature was in the mid 90’s and the guys still strived to exceed their fans expectations and responded to crowds with a memorable performance from beginning to end.
The group has such a big following, that more people in the audience were there to see them then were there to see the Balloon Festival. (This brings in 180,000 people over the 3 day event) The group took 2 short breaks and the ½ hour at the end of the performance to sign autographs and get their pictures taken with fans. This was one of the most dedicated gestures I have ever seen.
It has been a pleasure to partner with Reverse Order and I am delighted to recommend them for future events as they have an open invitation to play at our festival.
Sincerely,
Tim Holiday

To whom it may concern,
The Montvale Educational Foundation organized a Talent Show Fundraiser on November 21, 2008 at Fieldstone Middle School. After seeing Reverse Order’s picture on the Bergen Record, I got in touch with Cindy Russo, the band’s manager. From the first phone call, Cindy was enthusiastic, responsive and very professional. She mailed beautiful promotional posters to me several times which I hung up around the school and local stores. The posters definitely helped to create a buzz about the event and the band’s upcoming performance. Cindy confirmed the bands appearance several times and made sure that “all our ducks were in a row”.
On November 21, the band arrived on time and ready to set-up. The band members were very well mannered and responsible in the room they were given to get ready. Reverse Order rocked the house with their music and their on stage personalities. They were always appropriate on stage. After the show, they signed autographs, took pictures, and spent time talking with the students. Reverse Order could not be more approachable and friendly if they tried.
I am happy to report that the event was a huge success and people are already talking about next year. This will help to get more ticket sales and more sponsorship money. I hope Reverse Order can fit us in next year!
Reverse Order appeals to all age groups. They play cover songs as well as their very own original music. I highly recommend Reverse Order for any social event, street fair, and concert, corporate or private party. They are stars on the rise and I am glad we can say we knew them when.
Sincerely,

Here comes a bloody brilliant band from New Jersey called Reverse Order. The lads have just issued their new self-titled nine track CD. They have a growing fan base and play a cool blend of modern and punk rock with a slighy hair metal feel such as on the vibrant opening track ‘Away From Here’. This is a superb song, very catchy and hooky, singer John Russo has a fantastic voice and he is only sixteen, sometimes n the style of Butch Walker and Danny from National Product.
Next up is ‘Always’, this is a little more emo rock based, the song has cool guitar vibes and again the vocals are pretty cool and actually come over a little like Mick Jagger on this track. ‘Maybe Memories (The Piano Song)’ is a favourite track of mine, it is superb and very moody and beautifully performed, a potential radio hit the song glides along like a warmed up U2 jamming with say Jimmy Eat World, fabulous ditty.
‘The Vermont Song’ is a very slow different song, acoustic based shuffle and different from the other tracks. It has a nice warm feeling thanks to John’s vocals, dare I say almost baladic in structure? Next is ‘Don’t Ever Let Go’ is the bouncy crowd pleaser, this is a cool fun mdoern rock tune and another potential radio tune. ‘Stained’ is very deep and melodic and a superb moody song with great vocals and powerful playing from the whole band, I just love this track, reminds me of so many bands right across the rock spectrum.
‘Bend & Break’ is where the guitars crank up to full force, this catchy ditty is great, another strong crowd pleaser and a track with radio potential. ‘When You Walk’ showcases a really mellow subtle performance from John. A very modern based rock track that sits along the lings of bands like Safety Suit, Hinder and Breaking Benjamin. Last track is ‘Remember’ reminds me a little of Panic At The Disco and ends the album on a fine note.
Reverse Order have made a very respectable album that could do quite well, the songs are enthusiastic and produced well and I bet live is where the band shine, watch out for them myspace.com/reverseorderband

Dear Cruise, John, Mike, Justin, Cindy, and Janine,
I am sorry that this letter has taken some time to get done. However, I had to write this letter of thanks to you; REVERSE ORDER! Although you played a concert here three weeks ago, there is still a buzz in the building about the show. There has not been a school day since the show that I haven’t seen a Reverse Order shirt being worn by a student. Students stop by my room to ask, “…when will Reverse Order come back to our school?” We certainly would like you to come back to play a show in the fall.
From the first phone call in January through the day of the concert, I have been impressed with the band. Your professionalism, enthusiasm, and just being really nice people did not go unnoticed. Cindy, you covered all of the details and followed up on a regular basis. Janine, you delivered all insurance documents and took care of our chaperone shirt order in a timely and professional manner. Getting a customized set list was sweet! Even on the day of the show, with typical New York traffic on a Friday afternoon, all of you stayed in contact with me to keep me posted as to your arrival. I am deeply grateful for you allowing enough time to get here. One never knows when it will take four hours for a two hour trip! On that day, it did.
Now this is for the boys. You are all talented young men. You got right to it and set up and were ready for action in just a few short minutes. You all had smiles on your face from the minute you got here and until you left us three hours later. We were impressed by your actions throughout the entire event. When you hit the stage, it sounded as if the Beatles had playing at our school. The nearly 250 students in attendance were captured by you all. A number of adults approached me during the concert to compliment the band as well as the students in the auditorium. That was music to my ears along with the music you performed. We were also impressed with you when you signed autographs for everyone who desired one. That night, it was decided that we would love to have you back. There was never any hesitation making that decision.
I highly recommend Reverse Order to anyone interested in having a professional teen rock band play at an event. They are a group of nice talented young guys who rock n roll with passion! I can say, “I got to meet them before they became famous.” I wish you all the best in your bright future. We’ll see you in the fall.
Sincerely,
