“...Best Junior Prom I never went to. Glad to know I can still attend Junior Prom even after high school. Thanks for the memories and making me feel young again!” - Nathan
A band that will question your intelligence and recreate your soul? Tell me more! Albeit sarcastic remarks that hint at a heavier sound than they really are, Junior Prom, the band, has a profound sound we can all agree on as rock. But what's in the name? Apparently, what started off as the joke of two guys going stag to their high school Junior Prom, has evolved a decade later into a talented rock band. When asked about their band name, lead singer Zed Daniels describes the event as "a time in your life where innocence is lost and epiphanies of self-discoveries are found…" Their music is reminiscent to that of a late 90s Seattle power-trio, but still provides timeless qualities of everyday rock. There are also subtle tones of funk, rhythm and blues, and soul. Be sure to give them a listen when they are in your area, and feel free to bring a date!” - James Fontana
“Some of the best rock I’ve heard since the late 90’s. It’s nice mix of alternative grunge with modern rock.” - Sean Conway
“Wow! This is the type of band I would like to be in. I am embarrassed to play after them.” - Corey, musician of headlining band

Bio
What started off as the joke of 2 guys going stag to their high school Junior Prom, ultimately evolved a decade later into a rock band that will question your intelligence and recreate your soul! It's more of a pleasant blend of rock with hypnotic funk and classic soul.
Conceived in April 2009, Junior Prom merged their talents to resurrect a rock sound reminiscent of their (90s) youth, with additional inspirations of current and retrospective genres.
While Junior Prom is less than a year old, the musicians in the band have over a decade of music experience respectively, recording and performing professionally at venues throughout Texas and the nation. Prior to joining the dance, Mike Rasch (guitar) toured the U.S. with indie-rock band Cord [cordmusic.com]. Fabian Morice (bass) has shared the stage with funk, R&B, and Neo-soul acts throughout the lone star state, including In The Pocket [myspace.com/inthepocketlive] and The League [myspace.com/theleagueband]. When he’s not fronting the band, Zed Daniels (vocals) makes his bread & butter performing as a singer/songwriter at Texas pubs including Baker’s Street and Sherlock’s. Kev (drums) is a professional drum/sound tech and has toured with national acts including The Police, Green Day, and many more.
