Born in San Diego but raised in the small town of Tehachapi, CA, Jesse is not your typical surfer dude. Instead, he is an eclectic blend of west coast city cool meets rocker influenced country boy. Raised in a two parent home along with his two younger brothers, Jesse was a family oriented type of guy. His love for music started early as he recalls jumping into his father’s truck grooving to the sounds of Keith Urban, Def Leppard, and Journey. It was not until the MySpace era, which was early high school for Jesse, where he started to discover bands like Blink 182, The All American Rejects, and Green Day. As his love and taste in music started to flourish, his personal life took a tragic turn as his once stable family, was rocked by the divorce of his parents four months into his high school career. It was then that Jesse’s had to move back to San Diego because his mom chose to move back to the city during the separation. Along with that move, Jesse sunk into a major depression that set him on a crash course with the feelings of guilt, loss, and abandonment. It was then that he and his brother, Danny promised one another that they would now be each other’s strong hold.

With a new foundation in place, Jesse found ways to convey his emotions through the art of poetry. While his words would soothe his soul, he also found that his words would appeal to the ladies that had begun to catch his eye. Like most men, a little feminine attention pushed the young poet to put a little more emphasis behind his words so what better way to do that than to accompany his words with music. At that point, Jesse picked up the guitar and has not put it down since. Creating songs such as the awe-inspiring, “Believer” or the beautifully illustrious, “California Shores,’ Jesse has proven that he walks amongst the elite singer/songwriters of the world.
