Bio
After moving to Los Angeles from upstate New York, singer/songwriter Mikey Merced met bassist Hudson Buckley in college and, through a series of mutual friends, local drummer Ace Templeton and guitarist James Wolf.
Flower Jacket was formed through the common appreciation of classic and contemporary rock, pop, and Latin artists shared by all members. Mikey's Brazilian-influenced songwriting decorated with Hudson's groove heavy basslines, James' blues oriented lead guitar, and Ace's alternative rock drumming, all embellished with intricate vocal harmonies, creates the distinctive Flower Jacket sound.
