Bio
Too long have rock enthusiasts waited for music that defies typical trends and gimmicks, but seeks to combine raw energy with something once forgotten in the music industry, meaning. This empty space could only be filled with music of substance: rock that sticks to its roots while searching for something new. EMPTY CRUSH has taken full initiative in doing just that.
In the Summer of 2004, EMPTY CRUSH was formed and quickly began writing tracks for their debut album, "Social Outlaw". With various musical influences from different members of the band, EMPTY CRUSH grew into a sound familiar yet new. When it was time to record; EMPTY CRUSH sought production from industry veteran Brett Hestla (Creed, Dark New Day, Virgos Merlot). The band's artistic vision, combined with the production genius of Hestla, began to draw the attention of several well known artist such as Brad Arnold of 3 Doors Down, who makes a guest appearance on track "Why don't I" and Austin Winkler of Hinder, who appears on the track "Situations Change".
Within a WEEK of its release, EMPTY CRUSH's first single "Say It" produced over ten thousand plays on its Myspace page and hordes of support and praise from eager fans. Obviously, a response of this magnitude is a symbol of what fans across the nation are longing to hear. With this mandate, EMPTY CRUSH places a welcome position in today's music scene.
