Adam Phillips Band

The Adam Phillips Band, powered by the vocals of Adam Phillips, is a hard driving Americana string band drawing on influences from old time to country and blues to rock. They focus on deft originals by Phillips as well as a wide breadth of covers old and new in fresh acoustic arrangements.

Backing Adam are some of the areas finest musicians which can include the beautiful Meghan Joyce on vocals, the virtuosic lead guitarist Ray Pannell, and the versatile multi-instrumentalist, Dennis Russell.

Phillips is a Santa Barbara Singer/Songwriter and has worked with Chynna Phillips, Tom Ball, David West, and fiddler Blaine Sprouse. He has performed as a soloist for prestigious organizations including the Young Artist Program with Opera Santa Barbara, Quire of Voyces, Adelfos, Choral Society and as a cantor/psalmist at the Old Mission Santa Barbara. He is currently the Director of Music at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Goleta and in 2010 released his first album, Come Home (a collection of Hymns and Gospel Songs), with instrumentals by Doug Clegg, David West, Tom Ball, and Claudia Kiser.

Ray Pannell is a dynamic player who enjoys all genres of the guitar. Ray has worked in the studio with Steve Lukather of the band TOTO, with Lamont Dozier of Holland Dozier Holland, Frank Stallone on the soundtrack to Stayin Alive and Rocky III. He has performed on the Johnny Carson Show, Arsenio Hall Show, Jay Leno, The Today Show and is a member of the Mary Wilson Band of The Supremes and has toured the world performing in concert.
