I always say that hip hop needs more bands. With such great success of groups like The Roots I always wondered why more artists failed to follow in their footsteps. I guess the maintenance part of it can be difficult, plus dealing with all the egos can be tough, but that brings me to a new group In Case Of Emergency. They have a fresh new look and a style all of their own.
After listening to their first album "We are Ice" you can see the influences of many of the greats. They even made me reminisce of the days of Jimi Hendrix. Take a look at some of the great performance footage and listen to the album here. Official website here
