Shane Steer is a solo performing acoustic singer/songwriter using predominantly acoustic finger style guitar, vocals and sometimes harmonica when performing live. However is not limited to just these in the studio as he like's to play other instruments such as bass, drums, keyboards and percussion and enjoys utilizing these skills on some recordings if he feels the song requires and could benefit artistically from it. Shane has a unique singing voice which ranges from baritone to tenor and has a distinctive sound. Musical influences, among many others include The Beatles, Cat Stevens, Jose Gonzalez, Jeff Buckley, David Bowie, Johnny Cash, Simon and Garfunkel.
