If hunger is the handmaid of genius, then Creeezy is no less than a mastermind. With six years of grueling work under his belt the young rapper has accomplished an array of reverential feats, which include steady rotation on local radio stations, records featuring some of the biggest producers and artists on the Icelandic Hip-Hop scene, a continually augmenting fan base, and most importantly -- a catalogue of material of impressive quality and volume yet to be officially released.
Pigeon holing Creeezys music will do you little good for his corpus runs the gamut from golden-era old-school rap to eclectic and accessible Hip-Pop; the man can rhyme over anything. Over the course of his career he has worked with such Hip-Hop heavyweights as Sölvi Blöndal (the driving force behind Quarashi), Maximum (the producer and rapper of the first commercially successful Hip Hop act in Iceland), and Hermigervill (a young but seasoned proudcer who has released several albums over the course of his career). With access to such super producers and an unyielding will to success, it is only a matter of time before Creeezy crosses over to international markets.
Creeezy has performed at Iceland Airwaves for the past 2 years with his band Original Melody and the group released their debut album in 2006. The album garnered respect from fans and critics alike. After the album, Creeezy went on to pursue a solo career which has been immensely successful up to this point. Creeezy is currently looking for labels to sign him while constantly making more music and performing around the Reykjavik area.
