Summary

The Port City Music Hall is a performing arts venue thatÂ’s opening in Portland, Maine, in January, 2009. The venue is in the heart of the Arts District and is committed to developing the thriving local music scene which has launched such artists as Ray Lamontagne, Rustic Overtones, Slaid Cleaves, Pete Kilpatrick, and Sparks the Rescue.



Port City Music Hall is booking local and regional talent from New England for a monthly Sonicbids Showcase. Each showcase will feature 4 Sonicbids artists. Bands will have a set length of 35 minutes, and the venue will determine order of appearance. A proven local/regional draw of 50 is preferable. Artists will be compensated $200 plus a percentage of the door.



Sound equipment is available, and an in house sound engineer will be provided.



All genres accepted. Submission deadline for mid-January showcase is December 12!
