One Sonicbids scholarship winner will receive a full weeks' retreat at the location of their choice, free of charge (includes housing, meals, workshops, concerts and a full week of co-writing with songwriters from several countries). Retreats range in price from $750.-$1200.



Five Sonicbids scholarship runners up will receive the full weeks' retreat at the location of their choice for 50% off the listed price (includes housing, meals, workshops, concerts and a full week of co-writing with songwriters from several countries). Retreats range in price from $750.-$1200.



All Sonicbids scholarship submissions will be entitled to a 10% discount off the event of their choice, if selected to attend! (This savings alone far outweighs the price of your submission!). Retreats range in price from $750-$1200, so that's a savings of $75- $120 guaranteed!



Artists will be asked to upload 2 songs for review. This opportunity is open for submission to songwriters at all levels of development, who are interested in expanding their skills and network - with final placement based upon a review of their works. All submissions will receive personal feedback on their music, if desired. You do not have to play an instrument to participate. Lyricists are also welcome.



These events are limited in size from 8 to 20 songwriters, who live and work together for a full weeks' immersion in songwriting, in inspiring surroundings, resulting in relationships that will resonate for a lifetime, as well as establishment and expansion of personal networks for touring, song placements, ongoing co-writing, etc. internationally. Listening Room Concerts presentation are also staged at the end of the week to showcase participants work.

The Listening Room International Songwriter Retreats are led by founder Brett Perkins, who has multiple albums, song cuts, film and tv placement credits, and 33 countries toured so far as a performer and presenter since the early 80's.
